Steam Valley Productions Story

Steam Valley Productions was set up by Matt Fielding in 2008. Myself a regular on the line since I was a youngster. I started videoing in 2006 and then set up Steam Valley Productions in 2008 and since then have never looked back. I only live about 10 miles from Bewdley and make endless visits throughout the year to get footage for the upcoming DVDs. I call the place my second home sometimes. But its a hobby of mine and I do spend long hard hours whatever the weather getting the right footage. The standard of footage is a mixture of HD and Non HD in earlier versions, but I now (2018) film in 4k and make Blu-rays available to purchase from the same year. My involvement on the line doesn't stop there. I am also involved in organising photo charters on the line since 2008 and volunteering, doing Permanent Way work regularly on the railway. I have also passed out as a Guard during October 2023.

The Severn Valley Steam DVDs have been a success every year since they have been on sale in 2008. If not found on the internet they can be found on sale at ALL Severn Valley Station Shops (Kidderminster, Bridgnorth and also the Engine House at Highley) I would also like to take the chance to thank everyone who has brought a product of mine.
